Hispalinux is the community meeting of Spanish users and
developers of GNU/Linux that takes place every year (usually in
Madrid).
Debian Involvement
The Debian project is involved in the congress through three main activities:
- A presentation of the tools used by the Debian project
(package pools, CVS servers, Web infrastructure) focused on presenting
the tools used for internationalisation of web-published
documents.
- A seminar on how to provide services securely using a Debian system
with an on-site demonstration on how to harden a Debian GNU/Linux system.
- A 'birds of a feather' session with developers from the Debian project
and users in which everybody will have a chance to discuss
issues regarding Debian.
